SGLBA Business Awards 2010

The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Awards will recognise and honour successful GLTB businesses and business people for their business achievement, positive workplace environment and continued community impact.

The SGLBA Business Awards are much more about enthusiasm, initiative and innovation than applying rigid performance benchmarks. Because GLBT businesses come from very diverse sectors it is necessary to be flexible in applying selection criteria. No financial data is sought from nominees making the assessment of eligible companies partly subjective.

There are no hard and fast guidelines, rather the spirit on which the SGLBA Awards was founded - i.e. success and initiative - should be the indicator of a potential nominee.

The SGLBA Business Award winners will be nominated for the ACON Honour Awards to be held later this year, with one lucky winner receiving the SGLBA Best Business Award 2010.
