The SGLBA survey

We've had a great response to the SGLBA on-line survey.Thank you to everyone who responded. The information gained from the survey, and the wonderful suggestions, will go a long way to helping us make the SGLBA a better organisation.

As an incentive to completing the survey, we offered two very special prize packages. The names of the winners will be announced soon. Each package consisted of:

  • Business class tickets to Melbourne for two flying United Airlines.
  • A dinner for two at the fabulous RQ Restaurant in Crown St, Darlinghurst.
  • A magnum of Moet et Chandon Champagne courtesy of RQ Restaurant.
  • Free SGLBA membership for a year.

That means if you're already a member, your renewal is free. If you're not a member, you can sign up free of charge.

Some of the more interesting statistics gained from the survey include:

  • 72% of respondents would like to see the membership card introduced in place of the key-ring or don't care either way.
  • 85% of respondents would be happy to receive an emailed version of the member newsletter or don't care either way.
  • 77% of respondents rate the association in general as good to excellent.
  • 74% of respondents have a bachelors or masters degree.
  • 39% of respondents eat out 3 to 5 times per week.
  • An amazing 11% or respondents have children.
  • 38% of respondents have contacted a businesses that has advertised through the SGLBA emails or web site or sponsored an event, as a result of that advertising or sponsorship.
