Speakers in the hot seat over 'lock out'
Tuesday night saw the SGLBA host an event that brought together key local community leaders - Lord Mayor of Sydney Clover Moore, Donna Adney, Superintendent Surry Hills LAC and Andrew Duckamnton of Darlinghurst Business Partnership.
Held at Slide Bar, the speakers took to the podium after a delicious dinner, and fielded questions from members of the community.
The state of Oxford St, the 'lock out' which is affecting some of the key community venues in the area and the ideas for the future growth and development of the Darlinhurst/Surry Hills area were top of the agenda; with questions from the floor coming thick and fast.
