SGLBA AGM: New Board elected for 2010/11
The Annual General Meeting for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association was held on Thursday 5th August 2010.
Almost 50 people attended the meeting which provided Members with an overview of the activities and results of the prior year as well a look in to the future of the Association as it moves in to its 30th year.

Elections were held for positions on the Board with a total of 12 people being nominated for the 10 positions. The Board for 2010/2011 is:

A number of changes to the Objects of Association were endorsed during the meeting. A copy of which will be available on the About Us page.
A networking event was held after the formal part of the meeting, which allowed Members mix and mingle, and enjoy a drink and canapes.
Our Corporate Partners, Sydney Star Observer, OutTravel and Proteus Leadership Centres were there to promote the great range of benefits available to SGLBA Members.
A significant amount of effort was put in by members of the 2009/10 Board to raise the standard of the event and feedback from those who attended has been extremely positive.
We thank our Members for their continued support and look forward to being of service over the coming year.
