Applications now open for the 2011 SGLBA Scholarship Program!
The SGLBA offers several annual scholarships of $1500 each to gay and lesbian students studying business or commerce to assist with fees and expenses relating to their course. Receiving the scholarship in May 2009, Matthew Davis says, "This was an extremely exciting moment for me. Since then, my career and life have been full throttle".
Applications are now being taken for the 2011 academic year. Applications close 31st March 2011.

The SGLBA offers several annual scholarships of $1500 each to gay and lesbian students studying business or commerce to assist with fees and expenses relating to their course. Receiving the scholarship in May 2009, Matthew Davis says "This was an extremely exciting moment for me. Since then, my career and life have been full throttle with many more memorable moments." Reflecting on the kick start that the SGLBA Scholarship has given him, Matthew remarks, "I am forever grateful for the opportunity which the SGLBA Scholarship and the Association has provided me with. Thank you!"
SGLBA President, Paul Lee-Maynard, affirms the SGLBA's dedication to the community, "We're committed to helping gay and lesbian students get the best possible start in business. The members of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association Inc. make this community support possible". The SGLBA Scholarships are open to students studying business or commerce who have completed a minimum of one year's full time study. To qualify, applicants must be full time students at a University or TAFE in NSW and identify as gay or lesbian.
