Applications open for SGLBA scholarship program (2010)

The SGLBA Scholarship Program provides several scholarships of $1500 each to gay and lesbian students to assist with fees and expenses relating to their course. Applications are now being taken for the 2010 academic year.

The Scholarships are open to students studying business or commerce who have completed a minimum of one year's full time study. To qualify, applicants must be full time students at a University or TAFE in NSW and identify as gay or lesbian.

Applicants should provide details of the course in which they are studying, copies of their past academic performance and confirm that they identify as gay or lesbian. "We're committed to helping gay and lesbian students get the best possible start in business," SGLBA President Paul Lee-Maynard. " So, if you qualify, get your application in without delay - or if you know of someone who may qualify then tell them about it today"

Applications close on 31 March 2010
